Yesterday, our PHARADA team had the pleasure of attending SAMS Research & Innovation Day 2026, hosted by the School of Applied Medical Sciences under the theme:
“From Research to Impact: Connecting Discovery, Application, and Collaboration.”
A highlight of the day was the participation of Pharada’s Founder and General Manager, Eng. SAFWA NIHAD Al MUSA, as a panelist in the main discussion:
“From Research to Translation: Technical, Regulatory, and Commercial Pathways.”
The panel explored what it truly takes to move research beyond discovery and toward practical impact—from validation, quality, and regulatory requirements to intellectual property, product development, scale-up, commercialization, and academia-industry partnerships.
This strongly reflects our perspective at Pharada: promising research achieves meaningful impact when scientific innovation is supported by clear technical, regulatory, and commercial pathways.
The event also held special significance for us, as several members of the Pharada team are GJU alumni, making the opportunity to return and engage with the university in a professional capacity particularly meaningful.
Our sincere appreciation to Dr. Ziad Abu El-Rub , Dr. Walid Al Zyoud, Ph.D. , Sameer A. Hasan, Ph.D. , and Dr. Nafisah Al-Rifai for the kind invitation and for their efforts in bringing together academia and industry through such a valuable event.
