RLD and Comparator Product Sourcing

Pharada supports pharmaceutical companies in sourcing Reference Listed Drugs (RLDs), originator products and comparator products required for research and development, analytical testing, bioequivalence studies, stability studies and regulatory submissions.

We manage the sourcing process in coordination with the client, from the initial request and quotation stage through documentation, regulatory approval, shipment and delivery.

How the Process Works

01 Submit Your Request

The client sends Pharada the required product details, quantity, preferred source market and requested delivery timeline.

02 Receive Available Quotations

Pharada checks product availability and shares the available quotations, including the product price, source market, pack size, estimated lead time and applicable service and shipping charges. The client reviews the options and confirms the preferred quotation.

03 Issue Two Purchase Orders

Once the quotation is approved, the client issues two separate purchase orders: one covering the cost of the products, and one to Pharada covering the sourcing service, shipping and any applicable insurance or handling charges.

04 Receive the Invoices and Complete Payment

Pharada shares the supplier's proforma invoice for the products and Pharada's invoice for the applicable service and shipping charges. The client completes the required payments and shares the payment or SWIFT confirmations with Pharada.

05 Obtain the Required Import Approval

After payment is confirmed, Pharada provides the signed and stamped commercial invoice and packing slip. For shipments entering Jordan, the documents will include the statement 'For R&D Purposes' when required for JFDA approval. The client submits the documents to the JFDA and shares the approval with Pharada once issued.

06 Shipment and Delivery

Following receipt of the required import approval, Pharada arranges the shipment and shares the tracking details with the client. Shipping normally takes approximately 7-10 working days from dispatch, subject to the source country, courier schedule, customs procedures and any special handling requirements. The client completes the applicable customs clearance procedures upon arrival, while Pharada follows up until delivery is confirmed.
